Testimonies - Tiffany Stoddard
Much like important dates and memories that imprint themselves within our minds I will never forget the first time I met the Christian Life Movement (CLM) and Sodalit Spirituality. My youth group traveled to Peru for a mission trip in the summer of 2007 without knowing that we were headed directly for the birthplace and heart of the CLM. The first time I met people fully living out the spirituality was a moment I tangibly and really experienced joy! The Lord used that moment to call my heart and encounter Him with such conviction that there would be no returning to my life without His joyful presence.Today, I am a senior at the University of Northern Colorado studying nursing and striving to live with my whole heart in the Lord. After growing in the Sodalit Spirituality and CLM for three years, I continue to seek the presence of the Lord Jesus and His joy and grace in my everyday life. The Sodalit Spirituality helps me to approach myself, family, friends, and classmates in conversations and interactions that lead to a deeper conversion in and conviction for the Catholic faith. I desire to bring the Lord’s gift of reconciliation to all! The formation, retreats, and community in the CLM help me to do just that—bring reconciliation to all which includes, most importantly, myself. The CLM focuses especially on self development and knowing so as to conform ourselves to God’s plan. In the three years that I have been with the CLM I have learned so much about what I truly desire and God’s plan for me; and this ultimately leads to my happiness and holiness which is at the foremost importance of my existence! I plan to continue growing and thriving within the CLM according to God’s plan and place for me for many years to come.
