Psalm 1

1. Blessed the one who listens not to the counsel of the wicked
   nor goes the way of sinners;
   whose delight is in the law of the Lord
   and who ponders it day and night.LIFE AND DEATH I TODAY PLACE BEFORE YOU,
   IF YOU FOLLOW THE PATH OF THE LORD YOU WILL LIVE.
2. He is like a tree that has been planted by streams of water,
   in season it will bear good fruit
   and its leaves will never wither in the sun,
   for in all that he does he will prosper.
3. Not so, for the wicked, not so.
   They are chaff that the wind blows away.
   Far from life at the judgment they will be,
   as the one who commits evil deeds.
