It’s Not Enough
What is the meaning for which I should hope?
What is it in the end that I might find?
On the way, I am longing now to give it all
and arrive at the deeper meaning hidden inside.
Searching in the dark, asking, “What’s the use,
If I’m living fake when what I’m searching for is the Truth?”
IT’S NOT ENOUGH FOR US TO JUST LIVE LIFE
IF WE DON’T BELIEVE THAT HAPPINESS CAN FILL US
AND INSPIRE US TO TELL THE WORLD THAT
OUR LIVES ARE MEANT FOR MORE.
WE WILL NOT BE SILENT, WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN
IF TODAY THE TRUTH IS CRYING OUT FOR LOVE.
ONLY JESUS CAN TRULY FILL US WITH THE FREEDOM OF THE LORD,
AND HE’S CALLING US TO MORE,
AND HE’S CALLING US TO MORE.
Lord in you alone, alone your Cross
is the only place to find true joy.
If there’s more, then it won’t be found out in the world
if your love is the path which carries us to truth.
A greater happiness cannot be found
than to give it all in Christ the Lord.
I will be, I will be the one who does respond
to the voice, to the voice that calls out from the Cross.
